Ahmad Johnson is a West Palm Beach native and this summer, his jazz trio will be touring numerous cities across the east coast such as Miami, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City and Boston. They will be playing music from their latest project, "Legends of the Swing", a set of music that accompanies the repertoire, compositions and arrangements which are influenced by legendary jazz groups such as The Ahmad Jamal Trio, Oscar Peterson Trio, and Cannonball Adderly Quintet which truly delivers a hard-bop vocabulary into their group's musical direction. This tour will promote their album coming out next spring.
