MIXTURINC is a musical project where the musicians act as a brotherhood with live flamenco-jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms with classical music influences. All under the concept and direction of Amed Torrecilla, who has lived amongst the most authentic flamenco and jazz artists throughout his stay in Madrid.

Having been fed all this musical wealth has found the right time to merge these genres and brings this project that despite all the influence he has retained, the freshness of novelty that departs from the obvious and delves into the root of every genre keeping in mind the latest trends in European and international festivals.

This project is nominated for awards Cubadisco 2013 and with the approval of the foreign press and national and international radios in addition to very positive reviews of experts with Gian Franco Grilli, Italy and Rafa Bassi Labarrera, Colombia and the United States.

This Afro-Cuban jazz and Flamenco project is supported by a line-up of some of the best musicians of the genre living in Spain today. Such as Jesus Catala Voice and Percussion, Drums Georvis Pico, Percussion Feliz Estévez, Alain Perez Bass, Dani Noel Bass, Piano Liliam Castillo, Harold Rey and Gito Maleta, Carlos Orgaz Guitarra Flamenca, Elena Salgueiro Flamenco singer. All under the musical and artistic direction of Amed Varela Torrecilla who plays saxophones, flute, piano, composition and arrangements, also assisted in the mix, mastering of this project’s first CD.

Amed Torrecilla has recently relocated to the United States. This has allowed him the opportunity to participate in all kinds of music scenarios, and become affiliated with the most sought after musicians of the area. To continue the tradition of making elegant, interesting music. Proposing a harmonic and percussive richness with an authentic folk flavor.
