Enter The Upside Down as Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein play their soundtrack to cult TV hit Stranger Things live.

Serving up a hearty slice of 80s nostalgia, Stranger Things became the runaway TV hit of 2016, inviting viewers into the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. Dixon and Stein's soundtrack – heavily indebted to the work of Jean-Michel Jarre and John Carpenter – is inseparable from the adventures of Eleven and the gang, with the feelings of childhood camaraderie and unsettling eeriness amplified by the synth-laden score. For tonight’s show the duo will perform music not only from the first series, but also from the just-released second series – for which they have added new elements and styles of compositions – alongside a supernatural neon light show.

Dixon and Stein are half of Austin based S U R V I V E, and won an Emmy Award for the work on Stranger Things series one. The show is the brainchild of the Duffer Brothers and stars Winona Ryder – the much anticipated second series was released on the 27 October 2017.
