Back for a lucky seventh consecutive Valentine’s Day celebration here at Madison Theatre, Long Island’s premier Swing Era band presents a brand new program of classic hits from the Great American Songbook! Led by Artistic Director Steve Shaiman, Swingtime will put you in a romantic mood as they bring to life the Big Band sounds from the likes of Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, Les Brown, Gene Krupa and Duke Ellington. Plus, the band’s two entertaining vocalists pay tribute to legendary singers Nat King Cole and Anita O’Day, both of whose 100th Birthdays are celebrated in 2019.
