In commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, NYTF presents SOUL TO SOUL, an electrifying theatrical concert that explores the intersections between African-American and Yiddish musical traditions. The concert is conceived and directed by NYTF Artistic Director Zalmen Mlotek and stars Lisa Fishman, Cantor Magda Fishman, Elmore James and Tony Perry. There will be a special introduction by Professor Susannah Heschel, Eli Black Professor of Jewish Studies, Dartmouth College.
