St. Michael's Church
71 Broad Street
Charleston, SC 29401

Lisa and David Kiser present a slightly unusual program of music for piano and organ duo starting with their arrangement of movements from the "Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns and closing with Pietro Yon's rarely performed "Concerto Gregoriano." An organ solo, Bach's "Dorian," sets the mood between Carnival and Concerto. Historic St. Michael's church houses a 51 rank Kenneth Jones organ (residing in a 1767 case by Snetzler) and a Bösendorfer grand piano.

Lisa and David Kiser are faculty members at Anderson University. Lisa is also the keyboardist of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and you can hear David during his weekly broadcast of "On the Keys" on South Carolina Public Radio and watch his videos about pipe organs on his Youtube channel "organhunters." David is an adjunct professor of Piano and Organ at Anderson University, in Greenville, and is the keyboardist for the Asheville Symphony Orchestra 2018-19 season. Lisa is the Beth Marr Lee Endowed Chair Principal Keyboardist of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and is also on the music faculty of Anderson Univeristy. She graduated from Yonsei University, South Korea, and has completed the coursework for the Doctor of Musical Arts at USC.
