MONEY MATTERS is Youth Underground’s new play project. Developed in partnership and supported by Cambridge Savings Bank, MONEY MATTERS seeks to provide an interactive way to engage intergenerational audiences in a dialogue about money and financial education. In Summer 2011 the Youth Underground Ensemble and staff interview each other, family, neighbors, community leaders, and financial experts, asking questions like, “What has been your best purchase? Do you consider yourself a saver or a spender? How is having money important for happiness?” MONEY MATTERS captures the stories generated from these questions. Stories from REAL PEOPLE—real students, bankers, government leaders, teachers, parents, business owners, community workers.
