From the master songwriter of our time, Stephen Sondheim, comes a timely exploration of love, loneliness, marriage and relationships. Using a treasure trove of songs originally written for Follies, A Little Night Music, Company and other Sondheim favorites, the musical tells the story of two lonely young people who dream and ponder their lives in and out of love. As our community embraces and celebrates marriage equality for all, this is the perfect time for Diversionary to explore relationships from different perspectives. Our production will present the show in repertory with the story told from the alternating perspectives of two men, two women, and a man and a woman.
