CANADIANS ARE MEAN is a performance installation, written and produced by Melanie Jones, set in a dystopian near-future in the wilderness of the largely undefended Canada-U.S. border. Casting the audience as American refugees, the work explores immigration, stereotype and the problematic relationship between two colonial siblings.
