Journey with the Chi Phil Chamber Players from romantic Germany to passionate Argentina by way of Austria in
Berlin to Buenos Aires. Experience the tradition of the Romantic era with Mendelssohn’s lively and melodic Trio in D minor before being transported to Buenos Aires in the 20th century where Piazzolla traces the history of the tango in
Histoire du Tango. Also included is a brief side-trip to Vienna with Kreisler’s
Miniature Viennese March.
