Kate Daniels was born in Richmond, Virginia. She was educated at the University of Virginia (B.A. and M.A. in English Literature) and Columbia University (M.F.A. School of the Arts). She is the author of four books of poetry, most recently A Walk in Victoria’s Secret. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she teaches and directs the creative writing program at Vanderbilt. A recent Guggenheim Fellow, she is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers. Daniels will present a thirty-five minute reading of her poetry.
