Card Security Code Your credit card's security code is a three or four digit number which is distinct from your credit card number. Here's where to find it:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover Look for a three-digit number on the back of your card, immediately following your credit card number.
American Express Look for a four-digit number located on the front of your card, to the right or left above your credit card number.
