Acting from your Authentic Self

After years of feeling inadequate as an actor, Sophia discovered a new way of coming to work that she is eager to share. Influenced by the work of Lindy Davies, Harold Guskin, Chris Bayes and Lee Straussberg, Sophia aims to gives actors the tools to realize their most unapologetic selves on stage, starting from exactly where they are, to meet the character they are playing. Expanding on the idea of “you are enough” and applying it to stage work, students will be assigned work from plays to put these techniques into practice.
