On October 14th, hundreds of friends of Irish Arts Center, the dynamic hub of Irish arts and culture in America, will gather to celebrate the 17th Spirit of Ireland Gala, co-chaired by Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne and Loretta Brennan Glucksman, honoring the international recording artist Hozier, the iconic Riverdance star Jean Butler, and the Chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation, Ursula Burns. The evening will include cocktails, dinner and special performances by Hozier, the Grammy nominated songwriter of “Take Me to Church”, the astonishing musical duo Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill, and special appearances by Paul Muldoon and Jean Butler. Sign up for your chance to join us for this extraordinary evening – which will include the opportunity to meet Hozier, Gabriel Byrne and Jean Butler backstage. The drawing will be conducted on Friday, October 7th. One lucky winner will receive two Chairman’s Circle tickets to the event. Each contribution of $25 is a chance to win, and you can enter up to 10 times. You can make each entry separately or you can make a gift in multiples of $25. Entries may be made by emailing IAC at victoria@irishartscenter.org or by going to https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/store/32135/alldonations/2578 between the hours of 9am on September 23, 2016 and 9am on October 7, 2016 Eastern Standard Time. Entries must be received during that time without exception. No entries will be accepted via any other means whatsoever. Prize: Two tickets to the Irish Arts Center Spirit of Ireland Gala at Cipriani’s 42nd Street, New York, NY on Friday, October 14th, 2016 (cocktails, dinner, and awards presentation). One winner will be selected via random drawing on Friday, October 7th. The winner will be notified by email and telephone. If the winner is unable to claim the prize, a second name will be selected as the prize winner. If that winner is unable to claim the prize, a subsequent name will be drawn and this process repeated until the prize is awarded. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. A list with the winner’s name will be kept on file at Irish Arts Center and is available by writing Irish Arts Center, 553 W. 51st Street, New York, NY 10019. By participating in the Irish Arts Center 2016 Spirit of Ireland Gala Ticket Giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules, and that Irish Arts Center, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind in connection with the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. Prize will be void and forfeited if any part thereof is transferred or sold for cash. Irish Arts Center may use winner’s name for publicity purposes without further compensation.
