When John Watson suggested that Sherlock Holmes was in desperate need of a vacation, the last place he thought they would end up was Bloomington, Indiana. But Holmes hasn’t come here for rest and relaxation, he’s hot on the trail of an intriguing case. This cold-war era thriller will keep you guessing!

Recommended for ages 14+ (mild language, violence)

Total Episodes: 2
Estimated Experience Time: 2 hours (1 hour per episode, including approximately 10-15 minutes of walking per episode. There are benches or other seating available at most locations on the route.) 
Additional Information: Each episode of this play takes place in a different area of town, so be sure to bring your car. Additional parking/location information will be provided in your confirmation email. Use of headphones is recommended for the best experience of this play.

John Watson, PhD:
As the Covid-19 pandemic weighs heavily on John Watson, he reflects back on happier times pursuing his doctorate in English at IU and his friendship with the brilliant, young Sherman Hadee. Inspired by heist caper The Red Headed League, this drama casts Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic characters in a new light.

Walkabout Radio Play Series:
The Women in the Woods is a 4-episode, site-specific radio play series about a young woman who arrives at IU and discovers she has ties to Bloomington that she's never known about. With help from the spirits of her ancestors, she becomes a Sentinel - guarding the town from a mysterious evil presence that is out to destroy the town and corrupt its inhabitants.

Recommended ages: 14+
Estimated experience time: Play-dependent.

• Completely cover the cost of attendance for over 200 Title I School students
• Serve Over 4,500 Area Students including introducing 1,000 children to professional theatre for the first time
• Perform 30 special matinees of 4 Amazing Shows for students of all ages (K-12)
• NEVER turn any family away due to need with over 250 free Community Access Tickets
