Sally Smith was a devoted patron and longtime board member of The York who preferred to make her contributions behind the scenes, as part of the technical crew in the company's early days. This fund established in her memory helps The York to cover the costs for all of the things that happen backstage for the show to happen: set design and construction, lighting, sound, and much more. Giving to the Sally Smith Fund helps with all of these things that are necessary but often overlooked in the creation of musical theatre.
