Dear Friends of JACCC,
More than 38 years ago, the founding fathers of the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center dreamt of a permanent community center where Japanese and Japanese American arts and culture could flourish for future generations. For the post-war Japanese American community who were still recovering from the trauma of incarceration, this was a bold new step in reclaiming culture and being in control of their own stories and cultural destiny. In 2017, we have continued this vision to reinforce and retain Japanese and Japanese American arts and cultural programming for a multi-generational, multi-ethnic audience.
Our goal is to raise $45,000 in our year-end campaign. Your gift is extremely important because it supports all that we do here. Membership and grants cover only a portion of our operating expenses and your essential support helps us continue our work. Please consider a gift of $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000 to help propel JACCC even further.
An envelope and a response form are enclosed for your convenience—or you can also give online at JACCC.org. Please consider making as generous of a gift as you can. We hope that we can count on you to help us continue our programs this year. On behalf of JACCC’s Board of Directors and Staff, we wish you a warm holiday season and a happy, healthy new year!
With gratitude,
