CT Summer at the Museum (step 1.)
CONNECTICUT SUMMER AT THE MUSEUM PROGRAM
From July 1 to September 6, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying adult can visit The Mark Twain House & Museum free of charge through the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program.
To visit us here at The Mark Twain House & Museum, you must complete 2 steps.
Step 1: sign up for the CT Summer at the Museum Package by putting one of these packages into your online shopping cart.
Having this item in your shopping cart unlocks your special CT summer free tickets.
• You only need one package no matter how many kids you are bringing or how many times you want to visit.
• You get one accompanying adult per trip.
Step 2: sign up for/select/register for tickets for the specific tour you’d like to attend. Before you click continue, to check out look where it says
" It looks like you have packages in your cart. To add events before you complete click here."
Follow that link to add tickets for a specific tour time and complete the entire check out process. Every person in your party needs to have a ticket, even the littlest ones!
Make sure you complete all the information fields and hit the green "Place Order" button to complete your transaction. If you do not get an email with specific dates, times, and quantity of tickets then you should call us at 860-280-3130.
The house is shown by guided tour only, with a limited number of tours each day. Make sure you secure tickets for the date and time you want to visit!
Tours regularly sell out well before they begin, so make sure you’ve completed Step 1 and Step 2 before making your trip to the museum so you can choose exactly when you want to go on tour and be sure you and your kids have spots on the tour of your choice.
This program/discount applies to the general Mark Twain House Tour and does not apply to the any of the Living History tour series.
We will verify your Connecticut address upon check-in at the museum. Please bring ID or a piece of mail.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
