The Trojan Women Project sends artists from La MaMa to work with artists in communities worldwide who have a desire to use theatre as a means for addressing the issues and themes presented in The Trojan Women. The project uses the music and staging of La MaMa's groundbreaking 1974 production of The Trojan Women, composed by Elizabeth Swados, directed by Andrei Serban, performed by the Great Jones Rep and produced by Ellen Stewart.
