Israeli Chamber Project members share a passion of music-making and deep connection with the musical culture of Israel. Acclaimed in performances around the world, they devise programs combining beloved masterworks with lesser-known gems, and music by Israeli composers. Their first BPAC season includes two diverse programs for strings, winds, and piano. In the fall, Khachaturian’s combination of Eastern and Western influences shares an evening with Erwin Schulhoff’s dazzling Duo for Violin and Cello, Israeli Gilad Hochman’s Slightly Disturbed, and Brahm’s well-love Clarinet Trio. In the spring, violist Paul Neubauer is ICP’s guest in a program framed by two energetic piano quartets written a century apart. Mozart's lyrical 2nd Piano Quartet and Richard Strauss' impassioned and rarely played work, written when he was just nineteen years old. Discover an extraordinary group whose artists “think, breathe and play as one.” (Time Out New York).
