Home for the Holidays - A Kat Perkins Christmas is an incredible blend of traditional Christmas songs with Perkin's modern spin. Christmas is Perkins' favorite time of year! She incorporates her audience in fun crowd participation holiday songs and even features an up and coming young star at each venue. Together she has created a fun, rockin’ show to celebrate the holidays filled with great music, laughter and even her own original Christmas songs! It's a must see all ages opportunity to bring the entire family. The Scranton, N.D., native and “The Voice” (season six) star, penned the rock hit “Fearless” from her experience on the hit television show. The popular social media singer credited an avalanche of Twitter support for saving her at a key moment. Over the years, Perkins has performed and recorded music as a solo artist and with numerous bands. In 2012, she had success with a single written by Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) that featured Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Fubin, Grammy-nominated producer Joe Marlett (Foo Fighters, Kron) and her current musical director Eric Warner. Soon after, Perkins was forced into an early retirement due to voice problems. She underwent vocal surgery and became a full- time nanny. In 2013, she received an opportunity to go to the Middle East to perform for troops. While on the trip, a video of her singing randomly at the Amsterdam airport went viral via YouTube. “The Voice” team tracked her down and she quickly found herself in the spotlight as a Top 5 contestant coached by Adam Levine.
