Join us to discover your unique sound, form your band, and learn essential practice techniques with our first Build a Band Workshop series. Featuring professional musicians from the region offering high quality sessions and panels. Specialized lessons on each instrument with advanced performance methods in mind. January 18, 2024 – Build a Band: Day 2 - Your Band's Brand 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Black Box Take the next step in your band's journey by learning about stage presence, branding, and building your press kit. January 25, 2024 – Build a Band: Day 3 - Elevate Your Image 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Auditorium Elevate your band's image and technical skills with a professional photoshoot, band communication tips, and live performance techniques. February 1, 2024 – Build a Band: Day 4 - Mastering Your Sound 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Auditorium Dive deeper into sound engineering, stage setup, and refining your playing style to perfect your band's sound. February 8, 2024 – Build a Band: Day 5 - Shine on Stage 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Black Box Develop your stage presence and finalize your press kit. Learn tips on engaging the audience and promoting your music. February 15, 2024 – Build a Band: Day 6 - Taking the Stage 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Black Box Learn how to approach venues, book gigs, and navigate the music industry. Explore the future steps for your band's success. Tuition & Registration Full price tuition for all six sessions is $200, or individual sessions for $40 each. Or Select 6 tickets for the Torch Bearer with Acoustic Night Cap for $1000, and enjoy the main stage show on February 17, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm AND a private reception in the Empire's gallery with acoustic entertainment from select cast members, complimentary champagne, and dessert, from 8:45 to 9:30 pm.
