The Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) is thrilled to announce the 37th Anniversary Celebration & Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

This year’s theme is Itadakimasu! Celebrating Our Culinary Community and we invite you to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of:

Suntory Holdings Ltd. – JACCC Pacific Pioneer Award
Recognition for contributing significantly toward increasing understanding between the United States and Japan.

Japanese Restaurant Association of America – JACCC Ambassador Award
Recognition for serving as a community and cultural ambassador to the broader public.

The evening will also include the launch of JACCC’s exciting culinary initiative enhancing its mission: A hub for Japanese and Japanese American arts and culture and a community gathering place for the diverse voices it inspires – Japanese American Cultural & Community Center connects traditional and contemporary; community participants and creative professionals; Southern California and the world beyond.

In addition, the popular Community Spirit Award in its 6th year returns. JACCC honors three individuals nominated by the community in an effort to highlight the unsung heroes who are making a significant impact on our community through arts, activism, social services, or business.
