Join us before the May 5th performance of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach with some salsa dancing for kids and “kids at heart” of all ages and abilities! Kerry Thompson, a well-known dancer and played the Angel Mama in WFT’s 2013 Pippi Longstocking, will teach us all how to salsa! She has been featured in Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Harvard Gazette, and ABC’s More in Common. Kerry, who is DeafBlind herself and the Executive Director for Silent Rhythms, Inc, will teach the dance lesson in sign language. This free workshop will take place from 1pm to 1:40pm in The Earl Center for Learning & Innovation (located just off the main lobby of the theater)
