This timeless classic has made its way off the page and onto the stage. Based on author/illustrator Eric Carle’s beloved book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, this is the story of an insatiable herbivore munching its way towards becoming a full-fledged butterfly.

This production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a bright, bold spectacle, featuring 75 lovable puppets. This adaptation also features the faithful adaption of three additional Eric Carle stories: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, and The Very Lonely Firefly. After the performance, audience members will have the opportunity to experience the puppets and take pictures with the cast.

Lap seats are available for children under 18 months, which are $10 at the door or $5 by calling Guest Services at 312.374.8835. Children over 18 months are very welcome to sit in your lap, but a full ticket ($25–$55) will need to be purchased.
