Chicago Children’s Theatre is committed to serving all children, with an emphasis on underserved communities, including low-income families and youth with disabilities.
Each year, CCT subsidizes thousands of free and reduced-price tickets for CPS schools and community partners and provides financial assistance for class and summer camp experiences, made possible by the generosity of our donors. Thank you for your support!

Cabinet of Wonder: A Mother Goose Project
We are thrilled to announce an innovative project that will tap into the wonder and imagination of young people!
From treasured singer and songwriter Natalie Merchant with Chicago Children's Theatre, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Manual Cinema, with Educational support from the University of Chicago and the Carol Robertson Center, presenting Cabinet of Wonder: A Mother Goose Project.
Cabinet of Wonder is a series of free, streamed, online videos, featuring original music written and performed by Miss Merchant featuring interaction with children —playing their favorite nursery rhyme characters along with Natalie Merchant as Mother Goose herself! This cross-disciplinary series with music, literary arts, theatre, and arts education will be made available to homes and classrooms, free-of-charge, in the Spring of 2025.
