The Extended Tour (2.5 hours) affords time to visit Philip Johnson’s Studio, as well as The Glass House, Brick House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, outdoor sculpture, and Da Monsta. This tour includes a one-mile walk on paths and grass. Available on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Please note the following:

All tours depart from the Glass House Visitor Center + Design Store located at 199 Elm Street, New Canaan, CT 06840.

Children

All children must be at least eight years old, be accompanied by an adult, and have a tour ticket to attend. Visitors are transported to the site in a shuttle. Car seats and private cars are not permitted which excludes infants and younger children from visiting.

Parking

Parking is NOT available at the Visitor Center. Free parking is available in the Lumberyard Lot - a municipal lot at 244 Elm Street (across the street from the Karl Chevrolet Dealership), approximately a 5 minute walk from the Visitor Center. Please note that while other parking lots are available in New Canaan, the lot at 244 Elm Street is recommended for visitor use.
