DONATION CAMPAIGNS
The Glass House

Please donate to the Glass House and protect one of the world’s most celebrated works of Modernism. Since our opening to the public in 2007, the Glass House has maintained an unparalleled environment in which art, architecture, design and landscape intersect. Together with your help, we can continue our essential preservation and conservation ensuring this cultural campus is maintained for future generations. All donations allow us to maintain our 49-acre campus, and to develop new exhibitions, programs and educational initiatives for a diverse audience.

75th Anniversary Annual Appeal
After fifteen years of closure and a $1.8 million conservation project, the reopening of the Brick House represents a significant achievement in its history.

The Glass House, built between 1949 and 1995 by architect Philip Johnson, is a National Trust Historic Site located in New Canaan, Connecticut. The pastoral 49-acre landscape comprises fourteen structures, including the Glass House and Brick House (1949), and features a permanent collection of 20th-century painting and sculpture, along with temporary exhibitions.

Support for our preservation efforts comes from individuals like you. Your donation will help sustain ongoing programs and the preservation of the entirety of The Glass House site. We invite you to help us celebrate our 75th Anniversary by making an end-of-year gift.

Thank you for your generosity.
