After a monstrous wave washes a creature ashore, the people of a small Cape Cod town hear it wailing. Is it a sea monster in their midst? No, it's a baby boy as big as a house!

The village adopts the giant baby and names him Stormalong--'Stormy' for short. Growing to over 24 feet, Stormy struggles to fit into anything. He takes to the sea aboard a clipper ship to find his place in the world.

Meanwhile, a real sea monster, the colossal kraken, attacks the village...and only Stormy is big enough to save his adoptive family!

The first date available to stream is May 5th. After you purchase, an access code will be sent to you once the show is available.

If you or your child cannot wear a mask--or your child is 2 yrs or younger and cannot wear a mask for safety reasons--you will need to choose the streaming option.

For Those Attending in Person: This is an ALL-MASKED event with social distancing. Masks will be required to be worn over the nose and mouth of staff, puppeteers, and audience at all times - including children of any age. If you planned to attend in-person but on the day of show you are unable to attend due to illness or any reason, please contact our box office in advance of the performance time at 816.474.6552 to arrange a virtual option.

Inside the Theatre:

Ticket holders are socially distanced and pre-assigned seats based on date of order, matching the number of tickets purchased. Audiences are to avoid lining up or congregating in The Coterie lobby prior to the show. House opens 30 minutes prior to showtime.
