What makes something funny? This class will explore the cultural roots of physical theatre from around the world, including mask and movement, object manipulation and trickster and wise fool traditions. Pratfall skills will be introduced as students learn about action, reaction,and cover. Students will have the opportunity to create their own "bit" with movements designed to help express character(s) and tell their story.
