ABOUT THE ARTIST

Winner of the Grand Slam Prize at the KO Festival of Performance 2022 in Massachusetts, and a storyteller on the Moth stage, Jo-Anne Hart will also perform Friendship: A Love Story this year in Sweden at the Tranås Fringe Festival and at the Oslo Fringe in Norway. This solo show was previously produced at the CitySpace Blue Room Theater in Easthampton. Jo-Anne has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She uses stories to illuminate common ground, the consequences of trauma, and the empathy required to be fully human.
