Hannah, the product of a wealthy conservative Jewish family from Greenwich, CT, and Michael, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to a blue collar, salt of the earth, third generation Irish family, are getting married. Hannah and Michael travel to Greenwich to prepare for the wedding. Their planning, however, gets derailed by parents, pre-nups and pregnancy. Taylor and Rick are the couple’s best friends who are always quick to give advice, and are constantly bickering with each other, but in the end realize they are perfect for each other. Hannah’s Rabbi is on hand to provide the spiritual advice Hannah seeks as she tries to navigate her parents’ wishes and her own. Whether Michael and Hannah will get married; survive the merging of the two families; and get the support they need to get them to the altar, is anyone’s guess.
