Pianist and musicologist, Robert D. Levin is a Dwight P. Robinson, Jr. Professor of Music Emeritus at Harvard University. Renowned for his restoration of the Classical period practice of improvised embellishments and cadenzas; his Mozart and Beethoven performances have been hailed for their active mastery of the Classical musical language. He has completed eighteenth-century works, with particular focus on unfinished compositions by Mozart and Johann Sebastian Bach. For this special talk he will share some of his expertise on Johann Sebastian Bach. Please join Emmanuel Music! This event is FREE to the public but reservations are required.
