On Sunday November 5th, Fusionworks Dance Company will open their 30th Anniversary Season with two extraordinary repertory concerts that will feature the company’s finest dances from the past thirty years as well as two Rhode Island premieres. Artistic Director Deb Meunier will present a new dance that embraces the lighter side of life with “In the Garden of Delightful Vikings”. When thinking about what she wanted to create to herald in this important season, Deb stated, “I wanted to celebrate this important time in my life and in the life of Fusionworks by having fun and laughing in the studio”. This dance will be performed with a live musician on stage with the dancers. Also presented will be the intense and driving dance, “Please”, by the National Emerging Choreographer first place winner, Aaron McGloin, of NYC. This is sure to be an concert that continues with Fusionworks’ reputation of delivering concerts of gutsy, striking, and exciting variations of their tag line “Different is Good”. There will be two performances: a matinee at 3:00 PM and a VIP concert and reception at 6:00 PM
