Edward M. Fogarty Memorial Fund For New Works
A longtime supporter of Ballet RI, Edward M. Fogarty had a passion for new artistic creations. These new works can be a risky undertaking, requiring the coverage of costs like rights to choreography and music, new costumes, new sets, and more. Upon Mr. Fogarty’s passing, this fund was established to ensure Ballet RI’s creative edge is maintained. By donating, you are supporting the blossoming of new artistic endeavors for years to come.

Christine Hennessey Scholarship Fund
Inspired by the deep passion for education of Ballet RI co-founder Christine Hennessey, this Scholarship Fund supports and uplifts the dreams of young dancers. Youth supported by this scholarship demonstrate excellence in their achievements both inside the dance studio and more traditional academic classroom. Additionally, all successful applicants for the fund must show proven financial need. Your gift invests in the future of ballet, supporting the transformative education of the next generation of artists and leaders.

Derrick Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund
Supporting the dreams of aspiring dancers of color.
Ballet RI and the family of Derrick Jerrell Davis are honored to establish a transformative scholarship program in Derrick’s memory. Davis, who taught at Ballet RI from 2014-2015 and worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer, was a bright light of sunshine to everyone with whom he worked. This program, named the Derrick Jerrell Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide tuition assistance for promising dance students of color with a mission to expand diversity within the classical and modern dance community.

School Bus Sponsorship
Annually, Ballet RI invites thousands of children to see live performances in the theater at highly reduced ticket prices. This experience reaches a community who may otherwise never have this opportunity. To help support this experience, your gift can contribute to the $500 cost of transporting 40 children to see our Discover Dance performances.

Ballet in Bloom | Ballet RI Gala

Woodman Center at Moses Brown School | Providence, RI
Join us for an evening celebrating the return of spring and the flourishing of ballet in the Cultural Capital! The Ballet RI Ballet in Bloom gala will include:
- live performance by the company’s world class artists
- seated dinner with guests
- social dancing
