The Pure Glass House + Exhibitions tour is a shortened tour that visits Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House (1949). Visitors will spend time inside the Glass House and outside on the promontory overlooking Johnson’s 47-acre curated landscape. This tour will also view the special exhibition Frank Stella: Scarlatti Kirkpatrick presented in Da Monsta on the Glass House site. Visitors will be picked up from the entrance to the Glass House at the conclusion of the tour. Please note this tour will not visit the Painting and Sculpture Galleries.

For the comfort and safety of all visitors, children must be six years of age to accompany adults on a Glass House tour. Tours are recommended for children ages 10 and above based on tour content and duration. All children must have a tour ticket and be supervised by an adult at all times. Children requiring car seats (per CT State law: under six years old or under 60 pounds) are not allowed as the Glass House operating permit requires all visitors to be transported to the site in a Glass House shuttle. Private cars and car seats can not be accommodated for safety reasons.
