New Orleans Big Brass Circus Rock
Dirty Bourbon River Show
with the Jon Stickley Trio
Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 8:00PM

Arts Garage
94 NE 2nd Avenue
Delray Beach, FL 33444

With Opening Act: Jon Stickley Trio

The Dirty Bourbon River Show deftly melds sounds that range from hard-edged blues to piano driven ballads to New Orleans brass, with a result that is truly a blast of new energy into the musical landscape.

Since forming in early 2009, the Dirty Bourbon River Show have released 8 studio albums and played almost 800 live shows, quickly earning a stellar reputation for their tight, multi-faceted sound and high-energy performances.

They can be found bringing their blend of “New Orleans Big Brass Circus Rock” all over the USA, performing at festivals and respected venues year-round.

The Band is comprised of Noah Adams (vocals, piano, guitar, accordion, trumpet), Matt Thomas (vocals, tenor and baritone saxophone, clarinet), Jimmy Williams (bass, sousaphone), Dane “Bootsy” Schindler (drumsi), and Sandra Love (back-up vocals).

Their albums and live shows (both heavily intertwined) pair exuberant, syncopated lyrics with complex, harmony-rich songwriting and orchestration. They switch instruments mid-show (sometimes even mid-song), they all sing (except the drummer, of course), and they all have a penchant for theatrics (fireballs, group chants and stomps, whiskey pours – whatever the imagination calls for). This will be one unique show that you don’t want to miss!

Jon Stickley Trio
Jazz/Americana

With roots in gypsy jazz, bluegrass, and hip-hop in an “exhilarating all-acoustic swirl” (Acoustic Guitar Magazine), the Trio combines Jon Stickley’s rapid-fire flatpicking guitar with the sultry and wild, yet refined, melodies of Lyndsay Pruett on violin, set over the deep groove of Patrick Armitage on drums. The three have fused their collective styles into a repertoire of exciting and innovative original music along with some captivating covers. video:
