Chardavoine is well known around New York for his association with the great Dave Valentin, who's a guest on two of his albums. Last year he had the privilege of playing at Aretha Franklin's birthday bash with the Tito Puente Jr. orchestra.

His latest release,“The Tribute”, which commemorates the Haitian earthquake victims, showcases his talents - not only as an excellent musician but also as a great creative and seasoned arranger. His previous CD, “Fifth Season”, has been described as funky jazz, played with soul. It's guitar oriented in the style of George Benson, and lyrical in the style of Stevie Wonder.”
