Readings of two moody masterpieces by Edgar Allan Poe are brought to life (and death!) by Coterie teaching artist/actor R.H. Wilhoit and Rex Hobart on electric guitar. In The Premature Burial, a speaker delivers an antique TED Talk about his mortal fear, when it appears to manifest right before our eyes. Then, in The Masque of the Red Death, Prince Prospero walls himself and his courtiers away from the outside world where the contagious Red Death reigns…
Staged at “the holding vault” near the entrance gate of Kansas City’s Union Cemetery, established in 1857. Each purchase of a "plot" will reserve an area for up to four to attend, socially distanced from others.
**You must purchase a chair or a blanket plot.** Blanket plots will be placed in front of chair plots. Location of plot will be based on order date and type of plot purchased. There can be no more than four people per plot.
Need more space? Purchase more plots and we will automatically place those plots together.
(BYO chairs & blankets!). Low profile beach chairs are acceptable in blanket plots.
