Refusing to perform unnecessary technical flash or unclear direction, Real Time plays jazz for the 21st Century. Leader Mark Bonifacio and music director Cay Fatima have collaborated to write music that gives texture to some finely woven compositions. The music of Real Time is exciting, and relaxing. The group feels at home in many jazz styles and their live performances show their impulsive improvisational skills.

As a NYC metro based quintet that has been working steadily in the tri-state area, Real Time has a strong following since their relatively short debut – proof positive that this band has staying power and compositions that will stand the real test of time.
