Emmy Award winning actress and comedian, Judy Gold brings her stand-up comedy concert to Baruch Performing Arts Center on Friday October 10.

Best known as the star of her two critically acclaimed long-running Off Broadway hit shows - The Judy Show! My Life As a Sitcom (Outer Critics Circle Nom.) & 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother (GLADD Award, Drama Desk Nom.) , as well as her numerous TV appearances. The NYTimes called her "Fiercely funny, honest and moving," and the Huffington Post said "Comedic Gold: A funny and fantastic ride!" She has been twice nominated for funniest female stand-up at The American Comedy Awards and won 2 Emmys writing and producing for The Rosie O'Donnell Show.

Gold has had comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central & LOGO. She appears regularly on The View & The Wendy Williams Show. She has most recently appeared on 2 Broke Girls (CBS),Family's Melissa & Joey (ABC Family - recurring), Celebrity Wife Swap (ABC), Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off (TFN), Chopped All-Stars (TFN), 30 Rock (NBC), The Big C (Showtime). This year, she played Shirley in the Off-Broadway hit, Disaster! The Musical (NOT based on her life). She is also the host of the Funny People Series at The 92nd Street Y and a contributor to The Moth.

Gold's non-stop hilarious stand-up leaves no stone unturned - her Jewish mother, her kids, getting older, and everything and anything else that wracks her nerves.
