CONTEMPORARY SCENE STUDY FOR ADULTS

6:00pm-7:30pm
February 9, 16, 23 & March 2

Who? What? Where? Why? How?
If you’ve got questions, this class helps you answer them—onstage!

In this lively four-week acting workshop, you’ll dive into modern plays and learn how to use the script as your roadmap. From understanding obstacles and goals to sharpening your active listening and observation skills, you’ll explore the essential tools actors rely on to create honest, compelling performances.

Whether you’re brand-new to acting or already have some experience, this class gives you the chance to jump into a scene with fellow actors and develop it week by week. You’ll discover how to find clear objectives, raise the stakes, take things personally (in the best way!), and build strong acting habits that stick.

And at the end of the course, you’ll put it all together in a final performance where you can show off your growth and newly polished skills.

If you’re ready to learn, play, and level up your craft in a fun, supportive environment, this class is for you!
SHAKESPEARE 101

3:00pm-5:00pm
February 8, 15, 22 & March 1

Step into the spotlight and unleash your inner Shakespearean star!
Whether you’re brand new to the Bard or looking to sharpen your performance skills, this fun, accessible class is designed for beginner and intermediate actors who want to bring Shakespeare’s words to life with confidence.

You’ll discover how much Shakespeare actually helps you when you know where to look. Dive into the hidden clues he left in the text—repetition, capitalization, prose, punctuation—and learn how these little details can inspire big, bold, and totally original performance choices.

Each session focuses on one key element of Shakespeare’s writing, giving you a clear path to understanding the text and transforming it into compelling, grounded, and exciting performance moments.

If you’ve ever wanted Shakespeare to feel less intimidating and more empowering, this class is your backstage pass to making it happen!
