Pay It Forward: Support the Next Generation of Theatregoers!
Help us foster the next generation of theatergoers by purchasing one or more student tickets, which we will distribute to emerging, low-income, or first-time theatergoers through our partnership with schools and community centers throughout San Diego County. (Each donation of $25 supports one student or low-income ticket to be donated to a member of the community. $50 = 2 tickets, $75 = 3 tickets, etc.)

Diversionary Goes Green!
Diversionary is officially going green by replacing our decades-old leaking roof and installing solar panels, a vital project currently in progress and scheduled for completion by the end of this calendar year.
Partnering with Cosmic Solar & Roofing, this initiative directly protects our theater stages, equipment, and the irreplaceable local LGBTQIA+ history preserved onsite by the Lambda Archives. Beyond safeguarding our physical space, transitioning to solar allows us to practice strict fiscal responsibility by drastically lowering the high energy costs required to run our theater. Most importantly, this project puts our commitment to environmental sustainability into action.
We are incredibly grateful for the $26,111 already raised through the San Diego County Board of Supervisors (District 4), the National Alliance for Musical Theatre, and community donations. While these funds and a project loan allowed us to launch this massive undertaking, we still need your help to cross the finish line.
