DONATION CAMPAIGNS
Cara Mia Theatre Co.
Dear Friends and Familia,
Over 25 years ago, Cara Mía Theatre began as the first professional Chicano theatre in Dallas. Today, we are proud to be the largest Latinx theatre in Texas and a growing cultural force nationwide.
Thanks to the incredible support from our community during The Transformation Fund campaign, we are now poised to expand our reach and impact.
We invite you to continue this journey with us by supporting The Legacy Fund, our ongoing commitment to sustaining theatre for generations to come.
Your monthly or annual donation helps us sustain powerful performances, reach new audiences, and uplift Latinx stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
Together, let’s keep building a vibrant national presence for Latinx theatre, right from the heart of Dallas.
With gratitude,
David Lozano

Jesse Tafalla Jr. Scholarship Fund
Cara Mia Theatre announces the inaugural year of the Jesse Tafalla, Jr. Scholarship Fund to provide college scholarships and general support for high school seniors participating in the School of YES! leadership program.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to make college a reality for high school seniors who are graduating from Cara Mia Theatre's innovative leadership program at the School of YES!
Jesse lived to serve his community. He was an active member of many organizations including Rainbow LULAC, Stonewall Democrats, Dallas County Democratic Party, and the MLK Jr. Community Center Board. He was a champion of numerous social causes and political campaigns, encouraging those around him to engage in electrical politics and community actions. Above all, his love for family and friends was unconditional. He was always present for special occasions and to lend a hand of support.
This scholarship fund is our way to honor him and encourage young leaders to follow his example of love and service for others each and every day.
