The Stella Adler Studio of Acting a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been a part of New York City’s cultural landscape since 1949. Your tax-deductible contribution will help improve and expand the Studio’s world-class actor training programs and vital public access programs, like the Stella Adler Arts Justice Division, providing free professional actor training to New York City’s low income youth. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The Stella Adler Studio remembers Jimmy Tripp (1938-2021) who trained and inspired generations of artists. On the day that Jimmy died staff had just had a planning meeting around a long time strategic goal, the creation of the James Tripp Theater and Scholarship Fund. The Tripp family has asked that donations in lieu of flowers be made to the studio and have provided Jimmy’s photo and biography below.

Your donation will support the first scholarship in Jimmy's name and memory. One student will be the inaugural recipient of the James Tripp Scholarship to the Summer Shakespeare Intensive in 2022.
