Your tax-deductible donation to The Art of Acting Studio will help educate the next generation of the world’s leading actors and provide cultural programming that is accessible to the public. A contribution in any amount makes a difference. The Art of Acting Studio depends upon the financial support of alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations to maintain its position as a leading educational institution in the performing arts.
Stella Adler Outreach Division
The Stella Adler Outreach Division provides free actor-training to inner-city youth and underserved populations. Outreach aims to empower participating students through craft. This is achieved through four major initiatives:

Adler Youth
Summer Shakespeare
School Partnerships
Community Organization Collaborations

The Outreach Division helps to fulfill the Studio’s mission to create an environment that nurtures theater artists who value humanity as their first priority by diversifying the student body and creating an environment for all students to become actors like Stella Adler and those in the Group Theater – actors who are socially and consciously aware and whose awareness contributes to their ability to act passionately.
Harold Clurman Lab Theater
The Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company grew out of a feeling that the time had come for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to produce, or reproduce, its spirit, voice and theatrical sensibilities on a professional level.

The mission of the Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company it to provide the community, through theater and discussion, with a place of exploration and experimentation of what it means be a human being.
