Light the Way 2023
Light the Way to the ultimate theatre experience with a donation to Quincy Community Theatre’s annual campaign. Funds from this annual appeal will support production costs, facility repairs and updates, and wish list items.
Student Theatre Scholarships
Involvement in theatre can increase test scores, boost self-esteem, lower dropout rates, and more. So shouldn’t every child have access to theatre classes? Your donation could help a child in our community take life-changing classes that will prepare them for school, the stage, everyday life, and the workforce.
Paul Denckla Scholarship Fund
Paul Denckla, QCT's former Technical Director, loved to help create stories through color and his artistry on the stage. The Paul Denckla Scholarship Fund, in care of Quincy Community Theatre, exists to keep Paul's artistry alive by supporting students wanting to learn more about creating their own stories and adventures.
Barbara Rowell Capital Improvement Fund
Barbara Rowell was QCT's Managing Artistic Director from 1983 to 2006. Barbara’s impact on QCT’s past, present, and future cannot be overstated-- she was not only a true champion of the art form but also a fierce advocate for centering the theatre as a cultural cornerstone of our community.
Perhaps most visible of Barbara’s diverse legacy is the very building that our theatre occupies. It was through Barbara’s singular vision and determination that QCT became a permanent resident of the brand-new Oakley Lindsay Civic Center in 1995. Donations to this fund will help us maintain the house that she built for generations to come.
