In a country that has become so divided, we are grateful for the opportunity to unite our community together through live theatre. We believe that live theatre brings people together like nothing else can. We've seen countless audience members share laughs, tears and even cheers that strengthen bonds in a way that a television or computer screen simply cannot.
While our little theatre may have humble beginnings, it has grown into one of the premiere civic theatres in the state. Our success is proof that the South Bend community has a voracious appetite for performing arts, but keeping it fed takes the support of people like you.
Education
The South Bend Civic Theatre Academy strives to cultivate the whole artist — mind, body and soul.
We inspire our students to exemplify the Civic Theatre's 5 Cs: Creativity, Curiosity, Compassion, Civility and Collaboration.
