The Dorset Theatre Festival continues to be a destination for artists and audiences to engage with world-class theatre and experience stories that resonate far beyond the Playhouse walls. Contributions help fund professional productions, expand access to the arts, invest in new work for the American stage, and keep live theatre thriving in our community. Ticket sales cover a small portion of the work we do. Charitable support is what allows our mission to move forward.

We are not immune to the unprecedented challenges facing the American Theatre. We are up against increased costs, changing audiences, and the end of pandemic relief funding. Despite this year’s impressive ticket sales, an increase in annual contributions is essential to sustaining the Festival, and ensuring we can continue to make meaningful theater for our community.
Dorset Theatre Festival produces work that allows us to put down our phones, be amongst our neighbors, and, perhaps, see the world through someone else's eyes. It was inspiring to see the Playhouse packed with community members taking pride in the work produced on our stage this year. 18 karat yellow gold and diamond necklace designed and hand-made by Von Bargen's Jewelry. The pendant is a vertical hammered bar that measures 26 x 7mm and features 6 flush-set diamonds. The diamonds have a total weight of 0.09 carat, are ideal cut, and are G color and VS clarity. The pendant has an oval bail, and hangs from an 18 karat, 1.3mm, cable chain that is 20" long, and is equipped with a lobster clasp.
Von Bargen's is a family-owned jeweler based in Vermont that was founded in 1978. Von Bargen’s fine jewelry necklaces and pendants can be layered into beautiful combinations of elements creating a curated and personal look. A $50 dollar donation grants you one (1) entry, a $100 donation grants you three (3) entries.
The winner will be announced at the Dance Party Ball on July 25th, 2026. You do not need to be present to win.
