With ticket sales covering only 40% of annual costs, contributions from donors and sponsors are vital to sustaining our programs, supporting artists, and ensuring the theater can continue bringing exceptional work to the community.

We are not immune to the unprecedented challenges facing the American Theatre. We are up against increased costs, changing audiences, and the end of pandemic relief funding. Despite this year’s impressive ticket sales, an increase in annual contributions is essential to sustaining the Festival, and ensuring we can continue to make meaningful theater for our community.
Dorset Theatre Festival produces work that allows us to put down our phones, be amongst our neighbors, and, perhaps, see the world through someone else's eyes.
