Cheers to 12 Years

September 3 marks 12 years since Candace Wilson joined the Chuck Mathena Center.

To celebrate, Candace has one wish for her anniversary: 120 donors for CMC.

For 12 years, Candace has poured her heart into making CMC a place where the arts can thrive, children can experience the magic of the stage, our community can come together, and unforgettable experiences can happen right here at home.

Now, she’s asking 120 people to join her in supporting the place she loves.

Your gift helps CMC continue bringing performances, programs, educational opportunities, and community experiences to southern West Virginia. Every gift makes a difference, and every donor gets us one step closer to 120.

CMC Generations Choir

The Generations Choir brings people of all ages together through the joy of music. This free, intergenerational community choir gives members the opportunity to sing, build friendships, and perform meaningful concerts for our community.

Your donation helps keep the choir free and accessible while supporting music, rehearsals, performances, and other program expenses. Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure that the Generations Choir can continue bringing generations together, one song at a time.

All-County Sponsorship

Since 2024, CMC has partnered with Chick-fil-A Princeton and Brandspeed to provide boxed lunches and t-shirts for hundreds of students participating in Mercer County's All-County Band, Chimes, and choir festivals. All businesses or individuals donating $100 will receive their names or logo on the back of the shirt as well as social media recognition for each of the 3 festivals if they commit before March 6th.
